ok, I just HAVE to type this before I forget...

So I'm cooking dinner and Monkey is acting totally out of character today & is helping me cook. There we are, chatting away. I just *luv* these moments that we share together. We just talk, and giggle, and learn from each other. Well anyways, she was busy doing her thing and then it hit me. I just looked at her and for a minute there I had to stare at her. Then it came to me. I actually realized what a beautiful & great young lady she's turning into. She is sooo big already! 10 years old my baby is!!!
Do you ever have those moments (and I'm sure all moms out there do) when your kids are busily doing something, and you just have to stop and look at them? LOVE oozing out of every pore in your body...
that was me today!

So of course I have to tell her how amazing and adorable she is!

Monkey, do you know you are so amazing and adorable and I love you?

Yes.

Why, oh why are you so adorable?!?!?!?
(rhetorical question here, but her being 10 yrs old and stuff knows nothing about rhetorical questions so she went ahead and answered me)

Because of you and Daddy. You both must be contagious or something and made me adorable just like you two !!!
